Enjoyed a jovial holiday time with my beloved. I was spoiled with pineapple rum cake. I contributed coquito. Walked the dogs and enjoyed Gotham City living. Grateful for the love and support of my boyfriend, family and friends. Appreciative of all my blessings.

The winds of change blow every October. I've had an exciting year laden with both blessings and challenges. I adopted a pomsky puppy named Lyra Storm despite longstanding plans to adopt a hairless cat. When I first saw her online I imprinted immediately. When they handed her to me, my first memory of her is seeing her bright smile. There were stars in her eyes when she first saw me. In that moment my heart melted and she became mine forever. I wanted to name her Rei which is Japanese for spirit. Astro decided we should maintain the space theme so I named her after a constellation. When I see her I think of storm clouds, bears and foxes.🦊🧸⭐
This year I achieved many dreams. My design no longer languishes in my hard drive. I love that there is interest in my creative expressions. It only took a dozen years for my Graphic Design career to truly lift off! I interviewed with Activision Blizzard for Crash Bandicoot as well as with the Walt Disney Company. Today I am displaying work completed for Press Play Products.

I added the Kodak Pixpro Astro Zoom digital camera to my toolkit. While I am stoked to improve upon my photography skills, I am also very excited to record video. As an artist I am driven to express my creativity in multiple mediums. Dusting off the fundamentals of motion graphics will be a challenge, since I remember not loving the repetitive process of editing video in After Effects. I don't let difficulty or frustration deter me from producing content; I suppose I will have to learn to love the video editing process. About ten years ago I had purchased the Samsung NX mini, which was an amazing camera I was sad I didn't use often. I'm fortunate to have the privilege of freedom to express myself more now that my Visual Development portfolio is nearing completion.✨
This year's lessons in detachment have drilled in the importance of going where there is no path to leave a trail.

Last night I suited up and drove through DTLA at night for the first time for Dita Von Teese's Valentine's Burlesque Gala at The Orpheum Theater. 💖 Driving through the dystopian DTLA landscape with neon signs gives Los Angeles the Trip Hop allure fawn over. 💖 I had The Cure blaring on the speakers and reminisced on the first time I had the privilege to see Dita Von Teese perform. 💖 I had the pleasure to attend Strip, Strip Hooray! at Club Avalon on April 13, 2016. The show concluded with The Opium Den
performance and I still day dream about it. It made such an impression
that it burned into my memory. I love elegance and spectacle. 💖
